Variety the Children's Charity of Iowa

Variety the Children's Charity of Iowa's goal was to create an impact video to showcase the different programs they offered and their fundraising efforts to show future stakeholders. During the preproduction phase, I presented them with the option to bring in families that were impacted by these services and let their stories speak for themselves. We pivoted the original plan, and highlighted multiple families and told their stories while using members of the Variety team to provide supplemental information about the programs. With powerful testimony from the families, I let that drive my edit for this piece. This piece also resulted in multiple short videos used for social media.
